Missions - Reaching Our World
The mission of every local church should be the same: to make disciples (Matt. 28:19-20). A disciple is a fully devoted follower of Christ. The church is to develop believers like that. We don't decide what it is. We just do it. Here's what it says:
“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
We have chosen to take that Commission and put it into a short memorable sentence:
The mission of Crew Community Church is to Pursue Christ with Passion and Present Christ with Purpose.
In addition to serving our community, we are called to spread the gospel throughout the world. We do this through the variety of ways. We support several missionaries across the world, both financially and via prayer. We strive to serve areas in need such as Gulfport, Mississippi after devastating Hurricane Katrina.
Crew also supports the following international missions:

Beth has been a big part of Crew since the beginning. She went to Marshall for a teaching degree, and after teaching a year in WV, she felt God calling her to international missions. She currently teaches in Shell, Ecuador for Mission Aviation Fellowship.

Andy and Erin - East Asia
Andy and Erin are venturing where most dare not to go. They are ministering in an area of the world that has banned Jesus, Christianity, and anything related to the two. People are persecuted every day for what they believe, but Andy and Erin are standing firm and spreading the gospel "underground" in East Asia. Because of their safety, there is no online giving or websites giving you more information about their individual ministry with Campus Crusade International. If you would like to give specifically to their ministry, e-mail Josh Perry.
