Serve in Media/Technolgy Ministry

We serve a creative God - He DID create us and the universe after all. Even more, He created us in his own image - giving us creative minds, hearts, bodies and souls, with the purpose of bringing glory to His name. Crew Community Church has creative God-glorifying services, and so we need creative and talented media people.

At Crew Community, the media team is an essential part of worship. The goal of our service and leadership on a Sunday morning is to facilitate a service in which people can worship God with a perfect bond of Biblical and contemporary ways. There are several different areas that you can serve involving media:

Sound technicians run the sound board and create a good sound mix for the worship band and speakers each Sunday. To do this, you should have a good ear for music and sound. We also digitally record onto 8-tracks (just kidding) to use for online podcasts.

Computer techies create and run the song and sermon slides, and sometimes videos every Sunday. We use Media Shout and PowerPoint to create culturally, but Biblically, relevant services. Also, the computer media team utilizes their computer skills to design and maintain the website you are surfing right now. Don't worry if you are a n00b with Media Shout, we can train you (if you know what a n00b is, then you DEF need to join the team!)

Other media-related needs of the church include photographers, writers, graphic designers, and video producers.
